Project Aftermath
Project Aftermath bunks the typical indie ‘smallness’ and goes all out with a game that feels like an epic a AAA title. –8.3 from GameTunnel
BC Kings
If you like RTS games, this is a very good one that doesn’t expand the genre too much, but really nails what good RTS gameplay is.–7.3 from GameTunnel
The Hardy Boys: The Hidden Theft
The first Hardy Boys mystery is definitely geared to the younger crowd, but it has just enough depth to provide some light entertainment for everyone.–7.0 from Adventuregamers
2009
Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor
Second add-on to Company of Heroes (the original game got 9.0 from Gamespot and the first add-on scored 8.0)
Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper
DiRT 2
The first one got 8.3 from Gamespot
Return to Mysterious Island 2
The first one got 8.0 from Adventuregamers and 7.3 from Gamespot.
Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena
A remake of 9.3 FPS with additional single-player and multiplayer content.
I always loved DiRT (and the whole CMR series RIP Colin McRae) much more than GRID, even though it was really buggy for me. Maybe it’s just me but doing street races with a bunch of cars was just annoying compared to speeding through crazy outdoor tracks, taking hairpins as fast as you can. Much deserved sequel, I hope they keep this series going!
Also Chronicles of Riddick looks interesting, even though I never really played the first one through.
