2007

This is straight conversion of the original GS list, so unlike with 2008 and 2009 lists there aren’t any links to a different site for each game. I will add them later on, but it’s a huge task, so it will take some time :)

STRATEGY

Galactic Civilizations 2: Dark Avatar
The new features in Dark Avatar elevate the already superb Galactic Civilizations II to the title of undisputed best turn-based space strategy game on the PC9.1 from Gamespot

Europa Universalis 3
It’s as deep and broad as you would expect from such a big strategy game, but Europa Universalis III’s most notable achievement is how easy it is to get into–and how difficult it is to tear yourself away.8.7 from Gamespot

Supreme Commander
Supreme Commander delivers a deep and impressive strategy-gaming experience. 8.7 from Gamespot

Supreme Commander; Forged Alliance
Supreme Commander gets even bigger and better looking thanks to this feature-packed expansion.8.5 from Gamespot

Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword
Beyond the Sword is a great expansion pack with a lot to offer for Civ fans. -8.5 from Gamespot

Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts
Opposing Fronts is a satisfying follow-up to last year’s thrilling Company of Heroes, and it packs more of the intense World War II real-time strategy that we’ve come to expect from the series.8.0 from Gamespot

Medieval 2: Total War- KINGDOMS
This great new expansion offers a significant amount of new content for veteran Medieval II players.8.0 from Gamespot

Close Combat: Cross of Iron
Sure, the emphasis on tactics and cover etc make it slower than today’s bells-and-whistles RTSs, but the time you get to think makes it one of the cleverest. Some games just don’t seem to get tired with age. Chess and Close Combat are among them.7.8 from PC Zone UK

Theatre of War
Theatre of War makes World War II real-time strategy seem fresh, with outstanding attention to detail and realistic battlefields.7.8 from Gamespot

Virtual Villagers 2
Developer Last Day of Work managed to create a challenging, fun experience for anyone looking for a casual game to play off and on, or over a long period of time.8.0 from GameTunnel

Pox Nora
This web-based game combines a satisfying turn-based strategy formula with the customizable and collectible nature of those insidious card games.- 8.0 from Gamespy

Ancient Empires Lux
The multiple difficulty settings along with varied maps and historical intrigue gives the game a lot of depth, and helped make it the first Risk-like game that I’ve ever really enjoyed.7.8 from Game Tunnel

Urban Legend
Ah, now here is a game crafted with love. Beautiful pixel artwork, frantic caffeinated music, and the sort of sense of humour they just don’t understand in the US. It plays rather like the X-Com games in pseudo-realtime, and like the X-Com games, it’s good fun and I got quite thoroughly absorbed in it. -7.7 from Gametunnel

Fantasy Wars
It may be old-school, but Fantasy Wars isn’t behind the times when it comes to providing satisfying, albeit spectacularly tough, turn-based strategy gameplay.-7.5 from Gamespot

Sword of the Stars: Born in Blood
Born of Blood is a very good, though brutally challenging, expansion to the turn-based space strategy game Sword of the Stars.7.5 from Gamespot

Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties
The Asian Dynasties is a solid expansion that offers unique Asian civs and some other gameplay tweaks to Age of Empires III.7.5 from Gamespot

War Front: Turning Point
War Front: Turning Point is a decidedly different take on the WWII real-time strategy game, complete with jetpack Nazis and freeze rays. -7.5 from Gamespot

Starship Kingdom
Starship Kingdom is also a difficult game; be prepared to lose a good number of matches against the AI due in part to the concerns mentioned earlier. Still, Starship Kingdom has a solid foundation for a strategy game. Although you can tell the inspiration of the game, Starship Kingdom takes an established formula and makes meaningful embellishments to the gameplay.->7.5 from Out of Eight website

Air Assault Task Force
Air Assault Task Force takes the ATF engine and adds some meaningful improvements that make the game more usable and more approachable than previous titles. The unique setting and theme is enough to draw some attention to the game and the focus on helicopter operations is refreshing. Air Assault Task Force may not be the most user friendly game in the world, but it’s much better off than previous titles. I will give Air Assault Task Force points for adding a unique approach, distinctive settings, and an improved interface. The game editors and ability to import scenarios from other ProSim games extends the life of the title and also means that there are already hundreds of scenarios for the game. Joining a multiplayer game is very easy and the in-game browser is one of the best proprietary engines seen in a wargame. The inherent complexity of Air Assault Task Force won’t appeal to everyone, but gamers looking for a unique approach and a focus on helicopter operations will find a lot to like in this title-7.5 from Out of Eight website

Peace Maker
If you enjoy political simulations, want to understand more of the politics of that region, or are an educator, PeaceMaker is definitely worth looking at.7.5 from Gametunnel

Carriers at War
Not pretty, plump, or progressive, CaW succeeds in spite of itself. The gripping subject matter, the refreshing absence of turns, and the fact that victory and defeat are often just a couple of bomb or torpedo hits away, combine to produce pace and levels of excitement you don’t often find in hardcore wargames.- 7.3 from PC Gamer UK

Settlers VI
The latest addition to the Settlers series is a blend of the fresh and the familiar.7.0 from Gamespot

Galactic Assault: Prisoner of Power
A good grasp of tactics along with smart, challenging missions outshine Galactic Assault’s impenetrable storyline and elementary design.7.0 from Gamespot

ROLEPLAYING

World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade
The Burning Crusade is a superb example of exactly what an expansion pack for any game should be. – 9.2 from Gamespot

Witcher
New battle mechanics, a fantastic storyline, and a gritty setting make The Witcher one of the most engrossing, mature RPGs to arrive on the PC in years.- 8.5 from Gamespot

Depths of Peril
The game switches seamlessly from traditional RPG combat to diplomacy and back again, and the end product is very entertaining. You never spend enough time in either part of the game to get tired of it, and alternating between grand strategy and action role-playing varies the overall experience in a good way. You might be a high-level monster-killing machine, but if all the other factions gang up on you, it will not matter. You have to master both aspects of the game, and this dichotomy is where Depths of Peril shines. There are some missing features and it’s not the easiest game in the world to get in to thanks to the sub-par tutorial, but it sure is fun once it gets going. Depths of Peril is a highly recommended title that seamlessly blends two genres into a unique and compelling gaming experience.-8.5 from Out of Eight website

Lords of the Rings Online
The Lord of the Rings Online is a fun and accessible online role-playing game that does just enough to distinguish itself from its high-profile competition- 8.3 from Gamespot

Guild Wars: Eye of the North
Eye of the North is largely more of the same. In this case, that’s a terrific thing.- 8.0 from Gamespot

Neverwinter Nights 2 : Mask of the Betrayer
Mask of the Betrayer offers up a deeper, darker, and ultimately more satisfying role-playing experience than Neverwinter Nights 2.- 8.0 from Gamespot

Nethergate Resurrection
Looking for old, old school single player party based PC role-playing? As usual, Spiderweb Software delivers. There is no doubt that Nethergate will try the patience of people unsympathetic to Vogel’s sad devotion to that ancient engine. But it is probably the best adventure to come from Spiderweb Software since the early Avernum games. It has a generous demo, so people on the edge have ample opportunity to see if this is the game for them.-8.0from Gameshark

Loonyland II: Winter Woods
Competent RPGs are tough to nail, and competently fun RPGs are even tougher to find. LLII is definitely a competent and fun RPG. From the instrumental hip-hop anthems to the outrageous but identifiable characters, Hamumu has a family-friendly gem on their hands that casual RPG fans might not want to pass up. -8.0 from Game Tunnel

Titan Quest: Immortal Throne
Immortal Throne offers some really good high-level content for established Titan Quest fans to dig into, while retroactively adding small but meaninful improvements to the original Titan Quest.- 7.9 from Gamespot

Tabula Rasa
Richard Garriott’s newest online creation has its problems, but it’s still a good amount of fun.- 7.5 from Gamespot

Vanguard-Saga of heroes
Experienced role players will enjoy the engaging combat and fascinating diplomatic gameplay, in spite of Vanguard’s litany of bugs and singular focus on group adventuring.7.5 from Gamespot

Dungeon Runners
There’s absolutely no reason not to try this game. You might just find yourself hooked by a competent and charming dungeon crawler-7.5 fromPC Gameworld

Geneforge 4: Rebellion
It’s really cliche but they don’t make RPGs like this anymore in the retail PC gaming world.- 7.5 from Game Tunnel

Eschalon: Book One
The production values are far higher than many rivals, and anyone looking back fondly on the RPGs of yesteryear will soon be sucked in-7.3from PC Format

Hellgate: London
Hellgate: London has plenty of neat ideas, but many of them aren’t executed as well as you’d like.- 7.0 from Gamespot

Loki
Loki may be awfully late for the party, but this Diablo derivation is a solid rip-off with great game mechanics and atmosphere.- 7.0 from Gamespot

ADVENTURE

Sherlock Holmes: the Awaken
An engaging story, logical puzzles, and nice visuals combine to make The Awakened a great adventure game.-8.3 from Gamespot

Destination: Treasure Island
While it’s a little short, Destination: Treasure Island is a game that anyone who loves a little adventure in their lives should have in their collection.- 8.0 from Adventuregamers

Nancy Drew: Legend of the Crystal Skull
Legend of the Crystal Skull is arguably the best game in the series, now that its character design finally lives up to quality of the writing and voice work. If you have never played a Nancy Drew adventure before, start here.- 8.0 from Adventuregamers

Wonderland Adventures
For anyone looking for a nice wide-open game with a good variety of puzzles, Wonderland may be just the place for you to settle down.-8.0 from GameTunnel

Penumbra: Overture
Penumbra is loaded with creepy psychological horror that really gets under your skin.-7.8 from Gamespot

Secrets of the Ark: A Broken Sword Game
Secrets of the Ark is a little too in love with itself, but this is still a first-rate traditional adventure with a great story and mostly commonsense puzzles.- 7.7 from Gamespot

Anhk 2: Heart of Osiris
For better or worse, Ankh: Heart of Osiris is so similar to its predecessor that it feels like an extension of the same game. Once again, the result is a game that is always bright and sunny but just never truly shines.-7.0 from Adventuregamers

Runaway 2
If you loved or hated the first Runaway, you’ll love or hate the sequel for all the same reasons. For newcomers, The Dream of the Turtle is a solid adventure, but one that falls short of its abundant potential. Maybe next time (which the ending makes inevitable).-7.0 from Adventuregamers

Super Jazz Man
Though not an epic classic by any means, Super Jazz Man does an excellent job of being the fun nostalgia-fest it aims to be.-7.0 from Adventuregamers

The Blackwell Legacy
The Blackwell Legacy has more to offer than just nostalgia. Its appeal will depend on how interesting you find the story.-7.0 from Adventuregamers

Blackwell Unbound
It’s a low-budget title and it shows, but if you can overlook the rough spots, Blackwell Unbound is well worth the (low, low) price.- 7.0 from Adventuregamers

Sam and Max: Episode 2- Situation: Comedy
Situation: Comedy stands on its own, but it isn’t quite as good as the previous episode of the Sam & Max series.-7.4 from Gamespot

Sam & Max Episode 3 – The Mole the Mob and the Meatball
So far Season One is not particularly epic or memorable, but still a very good-looking and extremely fun diversion, and faithful to its franchise.- 7.1 from Gamespot

Sam & Max: Episode 4 – Abe Lincoln Must Die!
Finally, a video game has come along with the courage to eliminate one of the greatest threats against society today: “Honest” Abe Lincoln.-7.3 from Gamespot

Sam and Max Episode 5: Reality 2.0
While you’d probably be lost if you came in this late to the series, the fifth episode of Sam & Max is sharp and funny, more so than the previous installments.-8.0 from Gamespot

Sam & Max: Episode 6 – Bright Side of the Moon
Episode 6 ends Sam & Max season one on a high note by maintaining the great sense of humor and good puzzle design that you’ve seen in previous installments.-8.0 from Gamespot

Undercover
If you’re looking for a genre-defining experience, then, you’re likely to be disappointed, but if you’re content with a solid, serious adventure set in a largely overlooked period with an unusual protagonist, you’ll be more than satisfied.- 7.0 from Adventuregamers

Last Half of Darkness: Beyond the Spirit’s Eye
Joining a growing list of solid indie horror adventures, Beyond the Spirit’s Eye provides a nice escape into an eerie, isolated environment with plenty of scares and an interesting backstory to discover.- 7.0 from Adventuregamers

PUZZLE

Mr. Robot
If you are one of the many who have been waiting for Moonpod’s second game, following the 2003 Game of the Year Starscape, your wait is over. I recommend immediately buying the game on CD as you’ll want to keep a copy of this one around indefinitely.-9.0 from Game Tunnel

Peggle
An ode to joy is exactly what Peggle is. It’s a constant series of rewards, slapping you on the back and tickling you affectionately under the chin for what you achieve by design and accident alike – the purest of celebrations of what videogames are all about. It’s non-violent, very funny, incredibly charming and gently asks more of your brain than reflex. It creates nostalgia for a period of gaming that probably never actually existed. But now it does. Peggle! Peggle! Peggle!-9.0 from Eurogamer

Immortal Defense
I love this game–for its elegant, minimalist presentation; for polished gameplay; and for an intelligent design approach to a style of gameplay admittedly pioneered by others; and for its wry and even haunting backstory.-9.0 from Game Tunnel

Fizzball
The ability for the game to challenge different kinds of players from 2 year-olds to 80 year-olds is very commendable, and only adds to what will likely be looked on as a hallmark game for years to come.-8.5 from Game Tunnel

Bookworm Adventures
Everything is added at a nice pace that never overwhelms you, it just makes you want to keep playing. And playing. And playing.-8.3 from Game Tunnel

Venture Arctic
It’s a very good game that is original, thought-provoking and fun! It’s something that every gamer should set aside some time to properly appreciate, if nothing more than to educate themselves on the wonderful bird known as the Puffin!-8.3 from Game Tunnel

Blast Miner
The slogan “Welcome to minin’ country…you’ll never want to leave” is all too true in Blast Miner. The beta, the demo and the full version were a blast to play-8.3 from Game Tunnel

Snapshot Adventures: Secret of Bird Island
It is a little too complicated to be a true casual game and the wrong theme I’m sure for most Indie gamers, which is unfortunate, because I think if people give this game a chance they’ll be very pleasantly surprised with how challenging and entertaining it is-8.0 from Game Tunnel

Chocolate Castle
Deceptively cute. This game doesn’t look like much at first glance, but those fluffy animals and deliciously shiny chocolate morsels conceal a mighty cerebral puzzle experience.-8.0 from Game Tunnel

Professor Fizzwizzle and the Molten Mystery
The first Fizzwizzle was good, and this one somehow manages to top it in every way. Molten Mystery rejuvenates the familiar action/puzzle formula with more items, over 200 new levels, and plenty of other extras.(…)Accessible to all ages (yup, even the kiddies), excellent presentation, and oh-my-stars addictive gameplay once again. How do they do that?!-7.3 from Game Tunnel

Kudos
Social commentary meets real-world tedium in this engaging life simulation.-7.3

Dodge That Anvil!
Dodge that Anvil! is an excellent isometric platform game. One of the marks of a good game, in my estimation, is that it is enjoyed and appreciated more the more it’s played. DTA certainly gets points there.-7.3 from Game Tunnel

Wu Hing: The Five Elements
However, for the strategy fan looking for a game that has decidedly distinct rules and a unique flavor, it is worth checking out.-7.3 from Game Tunnel

RIP 3: The Last Hero
A balanced and surprisingly interesting shooter with lots of RPG and adventure elements.-7.3 from Game Tunnel

Barrel Mania
This game only loses a point from me because it isn’t quite so original as Eets which came before it but essentially if you’re a physics puzzle game fan this is on your Must See list.-7.3 from Game Tunnel

Grimm’s Hatchery
Not an original concept in casual games (see Insaniquarium), Grimm’s Hatchery nevertheless scores points for a lush, fantasy-setting that draws you into the game.-7.0 from Game Tunnel

Galcon
It’s definitely one of those simple concepts that I can see many people getting addicted to for hours on end.-7.0 from Game Tunnel

Rock Legend
Fresh, but slightly sanitised, Rock Legend isn’t a game you’re going to play intensively for months. However, note the price (GBP 12.50), and purchase anticipating two or three weeks of quirky, leather-trousered amusement, and you shouldn’t be disappointed.-7.0 from Eurogamer

Arrrrrr
from makers of Oasis (Gametunnel indie GOTY 2006)

Agatha Christie: Death on the Nile
A mix of adventure and casual genres, designed by Jane Jansen, creator of Gabriel Knight series.

Bang! Howdy
from makers of “Puzzle Pirates(8.3)

SPORT GAMES

Fritz Chess 10
The Fritz series has some notoriety, even if it’s not as famous as Chessmaster. Its third incarnation once defeated a prototype of Deep Blue, and the engine has taken on a number of masters over the years. This tenth edition has dozens of board skins, a comprehensive tutorial, and even advice for pros, along with over a million games to analyse and learn from. The game only falls down with its ropey and cluttered presentation. At least it’s friendly, something much needed in the grumpy-faced world of chess: it puts a cheery grin on its robot face when defeated. -8.1 from PC Gamer UK

Baseball Mogul 2008
Combining the stats demanded by baseball gearheads with great ease of use, Baseball Mogul 2008 hits the ball and touches ‘em all.- 8.0 from Gamespot

Total Pro Golf 2
There is enough content available online now to make quite a large schedule beyond the basic eight layouts, a testament to the intuitive course designer. It still feels like the game plays for you instead of with you, especially when you use one-click mode, but the game’s emphasis is on player development instead of direct interaction. Total Pro Golf 2 is a more rounded product and it will appeal to management fans that prefer customization over polished arcade mechanics.- 7.5 from Out of Eight website

Total Extreme Wrestling 2007
The depth of the game will keep interested players going to quite a long time, growing their operation into a successful venture. Total Extreme Wrestling 2007 certainly does not have a pick-up-and-play mentality, but if you are willing to invest some time into it, you’ll find a tremendously deep simulation perfect for fans of the genre.- 7.5 from Out of Eight website

ACTION GAMES

CRYSIS
Crysis is visually stunning, packed with intelligent, thrilling gameplay, and easily one of the greatest shooters ever made.- 9.5 from Gamespot

Another World: 15th Anniversary Edition
In 1991 I loved Another World and in 2007 I love it just as much. [And there aren't many games you can say that about, 16 years later! Ed]. It’s important that we remember computer gaming heritage, just as much as we do with old movies or books. Another World broke the mould back in 1991 and was one of the most innovative games of its time. With the same genres being churned out nowadays – endless FPS and sports titles for example – a little bit of magic, such as Another World, wouldn’t go amiss in modern games development. One of the all-time greats and rightly so, this latest release shows that Another World really was well ahead of its time – and whether you’re interested in gaming history or not, you simply have to check this out now.-9.0 from AceGamez

STALKER
It’s got some quirks, but S.T.A.L.K.E.R. delivers a dynamic and impressive first-person gameplay experience you won’t soon forget.- 8.5 from Gamespot

Jets’n'Guns Gold
This gold version is exactly the same game as the not-gold version, just with more! More levels, more badguys, more … ease of use in the shop screen? It’s still a super hard game (I’m struggling through easy mode after giving up on normal), super intense, quite funny (marred a bit – or enhanced? – by bad translation), and extremely strategic for a shmup.-8.5 from GameTunnel

Ninjastarmageddon!
This game was made to entertain and it does it oh so well.-8.5 from GameTunnel

Aquaria
“Aquaria is a slick game from an indie development duo. You’d never tell: the art, voiceover and soundtrack are all quietly confident, with no corners being cut or excuses made for the small team-8.1 from PC Gamer UK

Battlefield 2142: Northern Strike
The first booster pack for Battlefield 2142 offers up three exciting new maps and a new gameplay mode, making it a must-have for fans of the multiplayer action game.-7.7 from Gamespot

Scavenger
If you’re after some great looking action goodness, I would recommend giving Scavenger a look.- 7.8 from GameTunnel

Alien Shooter: Vengeance
Retro shooters don’t get any bloodier or more intense than this.- 7.5 from Gamespot

Parkan 2
If you like the genre, it’s an interesting game for the price and shows how first person shooting and space combat can be combined effectively- from Out of Eight reviews

Armed Assault
ArmA is a challenging and immersive game of modern warfare, but one packed with plenty of frustrating moments and flaws, as well.-7.0 from Gamespot

Painkiller: Overdose
This stand-alone Painkiller expansion is pure, stupid fun, despite slow loads and an utter lack of innovation.-7.0 from Gamespot

Death to Spies
It may not be easy doing sneaky dirty work in the Second World War, but it is more entertaining than you’d expect.-7.0 from Gamespot

Attack on Pearl Harbor
Forget about flight-sim physics and just enjoy this dumbed-down take on air combat over the Pacific in World War II.-7.0 from Gamespot

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2
The PC version of GRAW 2 is custom-built for the platform, and it’s so difficult that it appears to have been custom-built for masochists, as well.-7.0 from Gamespot

Snaky Jake
It takes quite a while to get into the game and new elements are slow to appear. But stick with it and you’ll be pleasantly rewarded.- 7.3 from Game Tunnel

Defender of the Crown: Heroes Live Forever
Fans of the classic Conquer 1080A.D will find a gem in Robin Hood: Defender of the Crown.-7.0 from GameTunnel

Hard core gamers should really enjoy the online fights as this games sports an experience is carefully crafted and fully unique.- 7.0 from Game Tunnel

Spaceforce: Rogue Universe
Spaceforce offers up a beautiful, dynamic universe to explore, though it suffers from a steep learning curve.- 7.5 from Gamespot

Air Battles: Sky Defender
Air Battles: Sky Defender makes for a solid introduction to the flight combat genre for newer players, and the price is right too – 7.5 from Gamespot

Virtual Skipper 5:32nd America’s Cup
A minority interest, certainly, but America’s Cup still manages to be relaxing and really quite tense in equal measure- 7.1 from PC Format

RACING

RACE: the WTCC game
Simbin follows up its GTR 2 success with another great PC racing sim, this time set in the World Touring Car series. -8.8 from Gamespot

Race 07
SimBin’s racer returns for a new season, adding brand new vehicle c.lasses to the already excellent touring car series.- 8.0 from Gamespot

Trackmania United
Speedy craziness and a great online community make TrackMania United a blast.-8.0 from Gamespot

Xpand Rally Xtreme
The problem with a lack of licenses is that it will hinder Techland in the quest to challenge Codemasters in the rally genre. Sadly, a big name that is recognisable to the public gets you on the map these days and for a relatively new brand, this could prove difficult to overcome. However, in saying all this, if you do not really mind about names etc then this game is certainly worth a try. The racing itself is very good, the game as a whole is only let down by some graphical issues to do with the backgrounds. The championship mode gives good life to the single player affair, while the presence of multiplayer internet and LAN options gives the title a good lasting appeal.-7.5 from DarkZero

MULTIPLATFORMS

World in Conflict
World in Conflict is a thrilling, spectacular strategy game, and an even better multiplayer experience.-

Test Drive Unlimited
It’s not quite as unlimited as its subtitle might suggest, and it’s got a pervasively aimless feel, but Test Drive Unlimited still succeeds by creating a fun, leisurely world to drive in.- 7.5 from Gamespot

Universe at War: Earth Assault
Universe at War has three engaging factions and some interesting ideas, but it’s also saddled with some annoying issues.-7.5 from Gamespot

Viva Pinata
The PC version of Viva Piñata is every bit as enjoyable as the Xbox 360 original, assuming your system is one that it chooses to run on.-7.5 from Gamespot

Rayman Raving Rabbids
The PC version of Raving Rabbids is still a goofy collection of minigames, but some of the fun was lost in translation from the Wii.- 7.3 from Gamespot

Stranglehold
For as long as it lasts, Stranglehold delivers a satisfying, if somewhat derivative action game experience. -7.0 from Gamespot

Medal of Honor: Airborne Assault
The single-player campaign doesn’t get cooking until the last two levels, but those two levels combined with solid multiplayer make it worth enlisting in Airborne.-7.0 from Gamespot

Lost Planet
Lost Planet’s strong single-player campaign stands out, in spite of buggy online functionality and other missteps.- 7.0 from Gamespot

Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII
Blazing Angels 2 is a clear improvement over the previous game, though history buffs will probably hate its fictional missions. 7.0 from Gamespot

Guitar Hero 3
Guitar Hero III delivers the rock to PC owners, but it does it with the performance capability of a second-rate bar band.-7.0 from Gamespot

MotoGP 07
MotoGP ‘07 succeeds overall because it has an ample supply of the most important attribute a game can have: fun factor. -7.0 from AceGamez

Pro Evolution Soccer 08
Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 looks sharp and plays well on the PC. However, the online mode is buggy and there’s little in the way of new features.-7.0 from Gamespot

Call of Juarez
Call of Juarez takes few risks with its setting or genre, but it does what it does well enough to be enjoyable.- 7.0 from Gamespot

Halo2
Halo 2 for Vista is a solid game that probably won’t appeal to anyone who’s played any recent high-profile PC shooters.- 7.0 from Gamespot
